No attorneys necessary in Colorado either, but we must use "approved forms" that were made by attorneys.

like i said in my post, it's a NC thing, i don't know the laws of other states. I assumed and i was wrong.

If you are that smart and not worried about consequences of what you sign, go ahead. You shouldn't need an attorney to help with your docs or a REALTOR to help explain them either. You may need a good attorney down the road when you realized that you signed something you thought was one thing and actually was something different.
