I usually go through a bag of carrots. I keep a little recorder in my console incase I have any brainwaves while driving, sometimes I do, usually not though.

not bad, I did 33 hours strait after a day of finals. left from bellingham wa and drove to prescott az. hit major traffic in seattle and portland (those were the killers) ever since when i do long drives i like to leave at about midnight. make the best time then.

You're in Australia, right? News-flash... those are sheep.

Aside: did you ever see that Australian B-movie suspense thriller about the road-train driver who pics up the creepy hitcher? I forget the name of it, but the premise is the trucker has to get from Alice Springs to "X" and takes a bunch of speed. About an hour into the journey he picks up a hitch-hiker in the Outback..... the hitcher insists they stop at a rest-stop/bar for a drink, and then he may or may not have killed a girl and put her in the back of the truck.... It's a pretty entertaining flick - wish I could find a copy.

Except for the Halloween parts which may prompt you to pull over and reflect.
