WOW.........my FJ55's top speed is 150 mph

Of course you would roll and die before you ever made it to 90.

I figure I could push my SBC 350 to at least 6000 rpm.......should be good enough to reach well into triple digit speeds.

LOL!

You must have dropped it out of an airplane for it to hit 150mph.

But, the pig isn't exactly the best aerodynamic shape for a free-fall. Lotta wind resistance.

Maybe on a conveyor belt

I've hit 90 mph is my cruiser but I doubt it could reach 150. I've done 130 mph is a smaller vehicle with a 6speed and properly rated tires. Let me tell you, once you get past 120 mph everything starts going by you REALLY fast. I have no need to ever hit triple digits again.

Maybe a piggie's terminal velocity is less than 150? Being as it is a block.

I think it depends on if the windows are rolled down and the back hatch is open, or not.

A 40 with the top off, no doors, and the windshield down would surely go 180..

What do you think?

Only if the AC vents were open and the tailgate was down/open or removed (depends on the year).

We cannot forget the Nat Pig has a chevy V-8 so it is light in the front end to start with.

So then you have the roll effect, which would increase wind load as it flips over......

But then again, that might blow out the front windshield as it traveled backwards creating less drag afterwards.

You might be able to control the roll by opening and closing the doors.
