so for 1c you get 8", 10C higher average global temperature is supposedly the end of most life on earth, 10c would get you 6'8",

Greenland alone gets you 23'
Antarctica over 300'
thermal expansion 6'8"

Trying to establish cycles here, also, "the North Pole may be free of ice for the first time "in history" is not technically correct. Do I believe we may have more open water this summer, yes, I believe it's possible. Do I believe the Artic will be COMPLETELY free of ice, no.

I think some of these climatologists word things more toward an emotional basis and not a sientific one.
Just my humble opinion

Hey, how often do the get your weather straight?

I wonder if the polarity of the poles is also accelerating the warming. As the poles begin to invert, the magnetic fields that help protect the earth from the deadly radiation begins to collapse until the inversion is completed. Once again, I believe the models are incomplete and Al Gore is the worst actor.

Gee, and I thought you were going to offer up your carbon footprint and compare it to 78FJ40's.
How about Supertramp's "Crisis, what crisis?" as the offical album for this thread.

I've wondered about this Pole Shifting scenario since I was a kid.

Maybe Gore's acting is based off the Mesoamerican calender.

My carbon footprint is small compared to the 2 adult and 5 young females in my home. And it's fair to say our Great Dane produces more methane; unless my wife is back to blaming the dog again

Besides. Everybody knows homes leave a larger print than vehicles do.

I'm not up to speed with Supertramp.

When I retire (if ever) I do plan to build or rebuild a self sufficient home in the mountains.

Since anecdotal evidence is fair game...

...This year was the coldest snowiest winter I've experienced in Aspen. We had lift serviced skiing two weeks ago!!! 100 year snow records were broken along with temperature records. Most of our high mountain passes won't even open this year. This all comes on the tail of a "global warming study" that stated that due to "climate change" in 35 years, we won't even have skiing here.

Pseudo-science is hilarious!!! The weather man can't tell me what's up this afternoon, but I'm supposed to believe some "scientist" that the sky is falling...

I sure could use a vacation from this

Bullsheot three ring circus sideshow of
Freaks

Here in this hopeless focking hole we call LA
The only way to fix it is to flush it all away.
Any fucking time. Any focking day.
Learn to swim, I'll see you down in Arizona bay.

...

Learn to swim.

Fock smiley glad-hands
With hidden agendas.
Fock these dysfunctional,
Insecure actresses.

Learn to swim.

Cuz I'm praying for rain
And I'm praying for tidal waves
I wanna see the ground give way.
I wanna watch it all go down.
Mom please flush it all away.
I wanna see it go right in and down.
I wanna watch it go right in.
Watch you flush it all away.

Time to bring it down again.
Don't just call me pessimist.
Try and read between the lines.

I can't imagine why you wouldn't
Welcome any change, my friend.

I wanna see it all come down.
suck it down.
flush it down.
