I had originally been thinking of casting my vote for Obama..........but Atticus knocked some starch out of my reasoning, namely the Heller SCOTUS decision.

Lets see, if SCOTUS gives us a broad 2nd ammendment ruling, I will vote idealistically for Obama. If we get a narrow ruling or a fawked one, I probably won't.

if Obama picks Hillary as VP I will vote for somebody else.

They could elect to introduce legislature limiting certain aspects of ammunition or they could even put extremely stiff taxes on the purchase of firearms the only vote we would get in this process is the vote we made for senators and representatives, and if you ask me I don't like the big cities controlling that vote. That would keep the average person from buying ammo or firearms.
