Depends on the subject and the situation.
Do you talk politics and religion around the campfire on wheeling trips with folks you don't really know all that well?
If you do, that says something about you as well.

I would discuss whatever subject(s) were brought up and I certainly would not filter my comments based on the audience.
That's not to say that I would look to big green oddly-shaped character to my left and say "I don't like you because of your opinion"*. I may disagree with the expressed opinion, which I would do around said campfire, but not with the person themselves.
*There are exceptions of course. Edit: which agrees with the first line of your quoted post.

Red and blue are backwards in the poll results...
I hope mud is not representative of the US.
We've got to redo this poll once they have running mates.

They steal enough of my tax dollars to pay for jurors who are not me.
They don't need to steal my time as well.
Funny you should use the word "blow".

So you would change your vote based on the Vice President who many could argue is the single most worthless person in the whole government....that is until the President gets shot?
I have no opinion on the democratic VP candidate, as I could care less about that party.
But I am afraid that McCain is going to choose Romney, who is a democrat in republicans clothing, and we are still introuble. McCain will probably die in office, naturally of course, and then we will have a Democrat from Mass in office.
McCain is as close to being a democrat as I am comfortable voting for.

Does the VP jack off in the back room and play Wii until the President flat-lines or something? You do realize that the VP is the President of the Senate, right? And this title gives him tie-breaking abilities when the Senate is deadlocked? And there was a historically important time, oh, around the beginning of this century, when the VP's tie-breaker gave the Republicans Senate majority? You think all Dick Cheney's been doing is standing around, occasionally shooting dudes in the face for the last eight years?

Okay so how many ties has Chaney broken while being VP, how about Gore? Seriously I am asking a legit question that I don't know.

Those of us in the military are going to get fucked like a virgin on prom night, no matter who gets elected. I'm packing the wife, kids, dog, cat and bunny in the Cruiser and drive to the Bahamas.

Okay so I am going to answer my own question. Chaney has broken 8 ties with at least two of the votes being on minimal things. Gore broke 4 ties with two being on the same issue at two different times. Quayle didn't break any. Bush broke 7.
I'm not sure what all of these votes were about nor am I going to read all of them but is it too much to assume they voted along party lines? I think the real question I am posing is how many times did Gore break a tie in favor of the Repub. or Chaney the Dems.

Well the way I see it as far as the military goes. If McCain is elected the US will stay in Iraq for a while longer and possibly hit Iran, which should have happened before we did Iraq.
If Obama is elected. He will try to pull the US out of Iraq at the first opportunity he sees and Iraq will collapse even faster than it is now. Then he will set on his hands for the 2 terms us idiot Americans elect him too and then we will be attacked(think 9/11) and the next president(probably a republican) will have to do the whole cycle over with.
So I guess in my uneducated analysis do you want to do it now or later.
I also feel that there could be a major attack on US soil shortly after the next president, whoever it may be, is sworn in. It will be a sort of test for the "new guy".
Bill Clinton sworn in January 20 1993 - WTC bombed February 26 1993
George W. Bush sworn in January 20 2001 - WTC and Pentagon attacked Sept 11 2001
This one is more of a reach but:
George H Bush sworn in Jan. 1989 and our the US Embassy in Peru was bombed Jan 1990 but the Bombing of UTA Flight 772 happen on Sept 19, 1989.

I can't believe I missed this one before. So you think we should have lost the war in Iran before we lost the war in Iraq?
Lunyou, do you know why we haven't attacked Iran, even though they have links to terrorism and we haven't had normalized relations with them since 1980?
