Dude, have you seen the indestructible Hilux yet?
I'm not talking about the played-out video; I'm talking about the Mud member who never gets banned... __________________ Toyota still builds real Cruisers. They sell them overseas. |

Well, I've always been a fan of the Hummer, and I always wished Toyota had the gov't contract so that I could buy a Toyota product.
I'll stick with my 80 for now. On a related note, I saw a picture of a custom landcruiser that was apparently built on a 100 chasis, but with a custom body that looked like a slightly modern and much wider FJ40. I've tried searching here, but don't seem to know the right search terms. Any ideas? __________________ 1996 FZJ80 (original owner) Black & Oak, 105k miles with factory F/R lockers, CDL switch, hand throttle, OME Springs & Shocks, ARB, Warn M12000, Milford Barrier, Dual Optima Blues, extended breathers, OEM dash cupholder, 285/75/16 BFG AT, Landtank seat rails, Slee AC dryer & T-case skid plates, Slee light & aux harnesses, Slee SS brake lines (frame->axle->caliper), V-1 with remote display, Icom IC-7000, Yaesu 8900R, Cobra 75wstx, Larsen NMO-2/70 & NMO-27, 100-series pads |

I seem to recall that one. Was that a one-off, or a Photochop, or a concept for what eventually became the FJ? |

Its a 73 series actually that has lost the FRP in favor of a crappy steel roof. Built by a panel and Paint shop in JAPAN where they reportedly made 200 but I suspect it was a lot less. __________________ HZJ75 cab chassis 95 model ,stocker FJ73+1HZ Diesel NEW GEARBOX 1HZ =same power as 3F with 30% better fuel economy 2in Dobinsons lift.Powerdown adj shocks 33 in BFG A/T HJ61 with slidin windas regrettfully SOLD:(Volvo 740 GL |
