You could test the boats fire systems by setting fires everywhere. And I could test the coolers and such to make sure they keep beer at optimal levels of cool.

Capt'n Jim is Da Man! I will not tell but he's thinking about even nicer toys.
It's a tuff life, but I couldn't think of a person I'd rather have live it!
It was sooo funny when we took his sport fishing boat on lake Jocassee up here.
It was fricking bigger than the cabin cruisers. Man we got the looks.

Jim's a nice guy.

Plied me with coffee and cinnamon rolls, then listened to my coffee-induced banter and tried not to laugh at my jaw hanging open as he showed me around. That was the first time I've been in an actual engine room--where I could stand up without hitting my head.

And just about every surface is clean enough to eat off of, including the engines themselves. And the first mate is kind of easy on the eyes, too.

To say I'm a little envious is an understatement. Anyway, as they say, bon voyage, Capt. Jim.

First off, this is only a part-time gig for me. But it is really fun to be the captain of a bunch of Gypsies in the Palace.

Good to meet Jman this morning.

It was also nice to see the sun after about a week of overcast/rainy skies on the way up. My first time setting foot in the city was yesterday. Holy cow, there's a lot of people there.....

Sorry Steve, I wish it was a 75 sportfish, too.

BTW Polak, we are burning about 80 to 110 Gallons per hour at cruise, depending on sea conditions and our next destination. Fill-ups average $4000. We did that 6 times since leaving West Palm Beach. We still have about 700 miles to get to Chicago. That 2F gas mileage doesn't seem so bad now, does it?
