Prolly deleted it because he got e-mail like this one from me...

Just curious...

What exactly does this mean?

"Designed as four-wheel-drive off-road British Land Rover Defender utility vehicle."

That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

It is a Toyota Land Cruiser from Japan so how does it get "designed" as different kind of car, made by a different car company from a different country?

The only thing that resembles a Defender is the Defender tire cover and the plaque on the glovebox.

Your post is very confusing.

Not to mention, Defenders are crappy trucks so if you are trying to sell it on that name, you will come up short.

Toyota Land Cruisers are much better vehicles. You should take the defender crap off and maybe you can make some money.

Also, the metal called 'steel' is not spelled 'steal'.

Good luck.

Don't worry guys, I bought that thing on a whim last night. I talked him down to twelve hundred bucks.

Turns out, he was living out of the thing, and he only put the spare tire cover on to ward off thieves. He was an extra for "Footloose" and he thought he could get his career on track, if he brought a "specially designed" truck to his audition. I feel bad for him, but I am excited to get my first FJ40.

I can't wait till it gets here.

You need a faster dial up. He died over two years ago.
