I'll take a close look at it. I don't believe it's structural. If I cut off the downward edges, it would leave a sharp edge wouldn't it?

I'll take some pics of it tonight.

I would post pics of my "tool", but would probably get laughed out of here....

I put machinery in " " because it's just a bunch of stuff... cushmans, motors, generators, mowers... that Michelle calls crap. I really don't know how to classify the stuff.

I cleaned out a room under the house on the weekend to put all my tools in. Up till now they have just been in a pile on the floor. The room is only tiny but the FIL and I built shelves in there and made a small bench. Now almost all of my stuff is in there and filed away neatly.

Now I have enough room to start rebuilding the motor on the 80 so I can sell it and buy a KTM 640 Adv.

I really need to clean up the garage. It's almost as messy as DD's. I have the 2f for my 60, all I need is some room.

My shed down the bay still is as messy as DD's with a whole heap of "crap" still in it. I still have a long way to go yet. But at least now the tools are sorted and the project cars are all up here. Still have a couple of V8s, some g/boxs and t/cases, a plethora of diffs, wheels, tyres, springs, etc. to come up yet.

IIRC, '85 was a split year. Earlies got the solid axle, late got IFS.
