So much laundry, tarp-cleaning, cooler-scrubbing, and tent-drying to do.

None of it is gonna happen today.

The lawyer persists and explains that the game is really easy and a lot of fun. He explains "I ask you a question, and if you don't know the answer, you pay me $5, and visa-versa." Again, she politely declines and tries to get some sleep.

The lawyer, now somewhat agitated, says, "Okay, if you don't know the answer you pay me $5, and if I don't know the answer, I will pay you $50!" figuring that since she is a blonde that he will easily win the match. This catches the blonde's attention and, figuring that there will be no end to this torment unless she plays, agrees to the game.

The lawyer asks the first question. "What's the distance from the earth to the moon?" The blonde doesn't say a word, reaches in to her purse, pulls out a five-dollar bill and hands it to the lawyer.

Now, it's the blonde's turn. She asks the lawyer: "What goes up a hill with three legs, and comes down with four?" The lawyer looks at her with a puzzled look. He takes out his laptop computer and searches all his references. He taps into the
Airphone with his modem and searches the Net and the Library of Congress. Frustrated, he sends E-mails to all his coworkers and friends he knows. All to no avail. After over an hour, he wakes the blonde and hands her $50. The blonde politely takes the $50 and turns away to get back to sleep.

The lawyer, who is more than a little miffed, wakes the blonde and asks, "Well, so what is the answer!?" Without a word, the blonde reaches into her purse, hands the lawyer $5, and goes back to sleep.

WTF! I am gonna take it back to the guy we got it from at the roadside fruit stand. We have been buying melons and fruit from him for almost ten years and this it the first one that was 'ODD"!
benzene is a component of gasoline. how do you know what benzene tastes like??

we had our first flavourful watermelon of the season this weekend and I finished it off in fruit salad this am. two previous attempts tasted like water.

So do I. However I'm dealing with US gas tank regulations. The issue is getting a legal gas fuel cell for where the spare tire goes. If I did that I'd split the battery bank into two and place it where I was thinking for the jerry cans. For a trip I wish to do I'll need 30 to 40 extra gallons of fuel due to the remoteness and lack of available fuel stops. It would be nice to get the extra fuel stored low between the frame rails. For that trip it would also be an option to pull a trailer. So if I can only get 20 gallons on the truck I could be OK. Another thought was to make a jerry can rack where the spare goes. I haven't figured out in detail how many jerry cans I could squeeze up into there, but it looks like 6 is the minimum and 8 is likely within reason. It would be a pain to put them up under there and then to get them out. So that idea while workable is low on the desirability list. If my truck was a diesel it would be much easier as the regulations are less stringent for diesel tanks.

My plan right now is to make a roll cage out of 1.5" DOM steel tubing. That will give the overall shape and size. To that I'll glue formed sheet metal panels. I figure I can waste a bunch of time with a sand bag and hammers to shape the edges of the panels into nice curves. One of my goals is to make the exterior relatively bear proof when the popup tent top is down. Inside the sheet metal I'll have insulation to help with both heating and cooling the interior.
