I'm getting into foil pouch cooking now. After a day driving it's nice to throw a couple of foil packets on the grill and relax while they cook.

That is the same as mine. We call them camp ovens as dutch oven over here is when you fart in bed and pull the sheets up over your partners head

I don't use mine as much anymore either. I do more touring now and getting the camp oven ready is a PITA. Too heavy to carry, not to mention dirty to pack away.

Whenever I do go somewhere and set up a base camp I bring it along.

did you see the pictures I posted from our trip last week? We did several hundred miles offroad. Very stuff

Motoqua is a scary little place. You can hear the banjos playing when you drive through there, my wife called it Butcher Holler. I was thinking more like Children of the Corn.

When we crossed the Simpson Desert we travelled 520km over four days between fuel stops. I travelled non stop for two days without seeing any other person other than our group.
