They make huge ones. That's about the smallest they make.

I went through two pair of work gloves digging my last trench (70-80ft, 32" deep). It was the last foot through caliche using a jackhammer that did me in.
i would consider renting a small ditchwitch if it can break through your soil. as much as the fricken huge ditchwitch was a pita to use, it also dug about 1600 feet of 10" slot trench in about 5 hours.

That is frickin' spectacular. Good investment if you ask me.

At the library there has been two bikes parked everyday up front, my RockHopper and this really ghetto cool Huffy. The bike rack is a steal bar that is pretty long, horizontal, with these rings welded in pairs all along the bar. Your front tire is supposed to slide in the rings, it will hold your bike up, and you lock it to there. It must have been put there when 10-speeds were all the rage, because a MTB tire just doesnt go in and I cant use a cable lock to secure my bike without taking off the front wheel.

Anyway, the only reason I gave that description is becaues today I was putting my stuff in my bag when here comes the Huffy and its rider, a really athletic looking young woman. She comes in at a pretty good pace, doesnt even stop, just WHAM right between a pair of rings and the bike instantly stops. She just hopped off...

I dont know, it made me laugh...

So, "speedo cable" still covers it.

Is your display a manual dial or electronic?

it is an electrically powered analog display. the only thing digital is the clock, which has an awesome stop watch timer we used during our road trip for playing the animal game.
