I've already hit it with a bleach based spray, and an ink remover (for leather), and now have some soft scrub soaking on it. Can still see a faint ghost of it.

Acryliclean or similar autobody wax and grease remover. Maybe polishing compound or Bar Keeper's friend. hopefully it didn't go too deep into the gelcoat.

Personally, I like the 4dr Wranglers. Though I would buy the Rubicon, not the Sahara, but then I live at the base of the Sierra Nevada, not the Sonora desert

She reaaallllly likes the Rubis, but they are just way more expensive, and she'll probably never need all the heavy duty off-road stuff. She just needs enough to handle forest service roads and some washes.

Try alcohol. Ethanol works better than isopropyl, so if isopropyl (rubbing alcohol) doesn't work, try Everclear.

I parked the XT at the bicycle rack today. I'm thinking the bike riders are slightly less prone to knocking it over than the cage drivers in the parking lot. It's not in their way, just in the vicinity of the bike rack. I asked the building superintendent and he said that's a better spot than where I had it in the parking lot, which was technically illegal.
