Those "arches" around the base are knockouts. You knock out the ones that the pipe would go through, put it over the pipe and you're done.

I have one for my lawn sprinklers, it works good. Easy access to the valves.

Do me a favor and at least use a real backflow too.

The guy we bought our house from did the atmospheric vacuum breaker. It's cheap, shitty looking, and doesn't work as well as the other two in my post.

I got a 1" backflow from work (for free) and will retro-fit when I get a chance.

looks like the rev limiter is at 9500, if it has the stock ignition

i will blow it out with compressed air every fall. I would have to go down 18" to beat the frost.

we have separate irrigation water. no interconnection with the house water. ergo, i don't think i need a backflow valve. the city has some honking valve on their side of the connection that might be a backflow anyway.

even 18" is not reliable. my existing system is 18" inches with gravity drains and I get that blown out to be sure.

there is a drain plug at the end of every zone line and i will add a couple more in the system at low points. i wish i could get decent drain cocks. pvc plugs look pretty dubious to me.

i think that is for when your valves are above ground??

my valves are all below ground level. i will make liners for the holes out watever and then cut out some lids from plywood.

I don't know, I would do some research on the backflow valve. I thought the same thing but after doing some reading and more reading I kinda convince myself it's a good thing regardless where the water is coming from. I like the scencery in the background.....really nice view.

and to clarify, in the shot above the hole is 11 inches deep but for a short section there are three once inch lines in the same ditch and i ended up stacking one on top of the other two, so it is shallower than i would like. it is off to the side, but I will have to figure out a way to make that area strong when i infill.

in most places the lines are down around 10 inches.

G'day Fuckers

DBT while I wait for a customer to turn up for work.

He is coming up to get us to build a custom tray for his new V8 79 Cruiser. He wants it bobtailed with under tray boxes, 3" mandrel bent headboards, under tray drawer slides, etc.

Didn't get home till very late last night. I had to do some work on the house down the bay before it settles. Didn't get a chance to do anything when I got home, I just crashed in bed.

do people use traybacks more for work or pleasure? the only flatdecks we see here are on work trucks. usually 3/4 or one tons
