It possible that it can make a comeback! Look at all the rivers in the NE where so many toxic chemicals were dumped by the factories for so many years... many of the states are removing the old dams and letting things take their natural course.

They had a big funeral procession in downtown Madison last night made of Emergency vehicles from all over the state, with a fly-over from two other medflight helicopters.

Medical helicopters have a very high crash rate for some reason...

Yeah they do. I've read that medical helicopters are the single most dangerous sector of commercial aviation outside the military during a time of war.

They don't know what caused this crash. Brand new helicopter, had been in service for 7 months, clear night, no weather to speak of.

Old skool pilots would assume it was pilot error. That's the way they rolled, they never wanted to believe the machine could kill them, they preferred to have the responsibility themselves...
