This guy is eccentric, and I respect him for that. He is pretty young, has this killer big hair, poofy, unstructured afro. He wears suits wherever he goes and no matter the weather. But not like a business guy, but more like an aristocrat. A poor one anyway. He carries these huge bags everywhere, and reads while pacing back and forth with this tight, upright posture.

When he writes, he uses the biggest words he can, and some obscure... He admits to it. But his poetry comes out like a giant cliche. Or something. Kind of like a Hallmark card, for intellectuals.

Our poems were the most picked apart by the prof, which is a good thing. She felt we had something to build upon. My revision is tight, because of her help with my diction. I dont know what his will be like....

But honestly, I have never felt the need to compete with someone in a class or at work. It is a bizarre feeling for me to have.....

We had something tragic here in Tallahassee where an eight year old fell in a small lake and drowned. It was on private property and there were posted signs. The family's lawyers are saying that the lake should have been fenced and are looking for their contingency.

Really tragic. But you have to give the lawyers credit for keeping it in the news for almost a month now.

I've had a guud night so far. Got the report of a stolen dirt bike and had the whole thing wrapped up in 2.5 hours. The little fucker who stole it had painted it to hide the fact. He and his buds were made to clean it up and put it back to how it was. It's a little Yamaha 50, and some 11 year old boy is gonna be happy once again. Oh, and the little thief will be spending the summer mowing the victim's parent's lawn as an informal "case diversion" in lieu of my filing charges against him.

PW50! There's one of those for sale not too far from here for $700.

I assume you "safety tested" it....i.e. rode it around the stinkhole...
