The sensation is similar to that which I felt in another case, some 7 years ago. But that time, there was also a LOT of vomiting in addition to the pain.

The doc thought it was gastritis and prescribed acid blockers. I could only consume clear liquids, which still gave me pain, but the hurling stopped. As soon as I had booze, it started all over again.
