I'm just saying. I never hang around on alarm calls to wait for the homeowner/keyholder UNLESS there has been entry or we need to make entry.
you are right, they mighta been there before us..........(although I wonder - no cop car came our way on the one preferred route from the housing development to the police officer station.....)

even the alarm company thought that they or us should have received a notification [the blanket recorded calls the other day showed that lack of telephone technology is apparently not an issue ]

I am just relieved it all turned out o.k. with Michael continually worrying in the passenger seat, my mantra on the drive home was: it was a false alarm, I am telling you..........false alarm......false alarm.......it better be a false alarm

and, if they indeed never came here, I figure the officers have bigger fish to fry - like the speeding ticket on the young lady student

Realistically, there are places in this big country where no amount of "planning" will equate to ability to use public transportation. Welcome to BFE. My own planning involves getting up on two wheels as often as I can to use less fuel (not to mention a cheaper fuel) for the lion's share of my usual driving--my commute back and forth to BFE. It's just a small help, but a help nonetheless.
Might save gas, but that's gonna be hell on your tire budget...

I did REALLY well on my Theatre test.

I also did really well on my Literature test. AND, that one, the prof pulled me aside and told me it was a pleasure to have me in class... NOT BAD!

One more test, psychology tomorrow at 1pm.

I had one test today. I think it went well. I have 2 more tomorrow 8am and 10:30 am

I put out enough feed for only 3. So if they want full tummies, they have to catch it.

fact is: nothing has ever disappeared here; UPS and FEDEX leave parcels (which they wouldn't in a bad neighborhood); and as of today, we have had more alarms in NE from fucking realtors not being able to push a security code than any real emergency

also, did I mention, I once managed to leave the patio door angled open in AZ a few years back for a full day in full view with the landscapers out and about and didn't miss anything (security system there is not in service)

honestly, you may call me naîve, but I generally have trust in the good of people.........

in this particular case, the physical oomph of placing the re-delivery box into the front door may have been overdone by the fact that the woman postal carrier has been replaced by a man......

I am still wondering why he has a right-hand-drive Jeep Cherokee (and thus doesn't need to walk out of the vehicle to each mailbox...) while she had to manage with a left-hand-drive Grand Cherokee
