spent most of today re-indexing SEARCH so you can use 3-letter terms

then had some issues with the 'post' table, which crashed things for a bit....got it reworked....

few other things coming down the pike in the next weeks too....

It is very slow and at times I can't even get to the page that has all the Threads listed.

Intermittent slowness to the point where pages partially load, then freeze. Clears up after 15 to 20 minutes.

Agreed. New thing, seems like a very overworked db? A broken function? I dunno, but something new is intermittent

wtf is yeildbuild.com, why is the site waiting for it, and why doesn't it respond to the adblocking of it's ass?

(that seems to be what is showing when things "hang")

~~edit~~, never mind, this computer seems to be picking up hits on it, and seems to be running smoother than the one at wr0k, so I guess I am here with a solution instead of a problem

solution being:

add http://yieldbuild.com* (include the *) to your filters in adblock plus, I've had 21055 hits on it since I noticed it a while back, I'll add it on the work 'puter and see if it clears things up

not using firefox?

yieldbuild is a script. FireFox's NoScript add-on will forbid the yieldbuild script AS WELL AS the following scripts on 'Mud:
1)qksv.net
2google-analytics
3)intellitxt.com
4)quantserve.com
5)contextweb.org
