I am awaiting a email to see if she approves the text of an email that I intend to send to company recruiting me for that job. I wanted her to look at it and see if I left anything out or if there is something that would better be left unsaid.

It is fairly short and says nothing about taxes...

I would appreciate it if the editors and folks in TUT would look at the copy and post something or PM me of what it thinks of content. I think I am going to call first and decline and then send email.

Here goes... pulling the trigger.

Bill and Beau:

I truly appreciate the opportunity to participate in this process and cherish the thought that you felt that I was the man to get the job done. I regret that due to my own situation I cannot devote 110% of my efforts to helping you grow your company. Anything less than that would be unacceptable to me.

I know I am missing out on a wonderful opportunity to work with competent people in a stellar working environment. This has been a very difficult decision. I thank you for your patience and all of your effort to bring me aboard.

I wish you the best of luck and think that you will get the job done and prosper as you bring your company out of the ground. If the occasion ever arises to sell or recommend a foam monument sign, I can assure you that your company will be at the top of my list.

Thank you again.

suggested that I add this text to the first paragraph to make it clear that they do not need to read further if they do not want their egos stroked:

Therefore I cannot accept your offer to be your Southeast Regional Sales Manager.

I fell a litle regret but I think my decision is the best for us.

I wouldn't use the word "cherish" in a business letter. It sounds to informal,

and ghey.

It was one of the things I absolutely hated about legal practice. I still do a form of documentation of my day and daily activities; however, in this job, I don't have to account for my every fucking six minutes. I am happier xTUT.

Flush?

Unless the oil is contaminated you just drain and fill.

If the oil is contaminated pull an access cover, wipe out as much as you can and then hose it down with Brake Kleen.

Yesh. Mick mentioned a flush would be necessary if the oil was mucky.

Thanks for the tip - that's what I was looking for.

BELLEVUE, OH (NBC) -- A man in central Ohio is accused of having sex with his picnic table.

The investigation began when a tipster gave police three DVDs showing Arthur Price having sexual intercourse with a metal round table on his deck.

The incidents occurred between January and March 2008.

Police say the DVDs show Price involved in a sex act in his bedroom. He walks out to his deck, tilts the table on its side and has sex with it.

Police say Price lives near an elementary school.

Price admitted that he had sex with the picnic table when police questioned him.

He confirmed to police the incidents caught on the DVDs and said he had also had sex with the table inside the home.

Price faces four counts of public indecency. He is free on a $20,000 bond.
