Even with a well done SOA there is the body roll issue. I'm use to it but I get scared when my son borrows the rig.
That can be solved if you don't have flexy springs, but I likes my flexy worn out springs.

does tut have any suggestions on how best to lift our dining room table? It is a nineteenth century model, and it is the right height if everyone is under 6'. We have been having more tall dinner guests lately, so we are thinking of either going with a caster lift, or alternately, making up a rubber or polyurethane leg pad to lift about an inch. ideally we want something that won't mar the floor when we move the table.

the other alternative is to shorten the legs of our dining room chairs, but that still won't do for people with a big inseam.

Why not get lowering kits for a couple of the chairs? That way the shorter guest will still be comfortable.

Go Japanese! get rid of the chairs and cut the table legs off short. Everybody sits on the floor.

I think you should do a double-shackle reversal SOA on the m101.
And a handstand on the M5, while you're at it.
