Latin IS what Latin had become. Deal with it. The same is true for English.

Okay, so we have a bunch of 11 year old girls over for daughter's BD party right now. They're doing some Karaoke video game. Two of the girls are great singers, and a third is, well fucking incredible. She was going head to head with someone else, and the other girl just stopped singing and watched instead. Turns out this girl has, indeed, performed at Carnegie Hall. Not solo, but as part of a group, but still.

Then I've had it since I was a kid. I've not been tested for ADD, but my shrink feels I have it. While I can focus on something intensely, I also can very easily be distracted too. Plus I also have a bit of a short term memory problem due to my brains getting scrambled. It sucks, but I'm alive and otherwise in good shape.

I'm not a fan of bugs, but those are my saviors here in the farm. DEET for the mosquitoes and other flying blood suckers. I put permethrin on my clothes to keep ticks and chiggers away. With permethrin you have to treat the clothes, then let it dry before you put the clothes on. It will last through a couple washings. The hassle is well worth it.

Katie played at Carnegie Hall. She was part of an orchestra, but was first chair clarinet and had some solos.

Just got back from "driving". I followed a fireman that was driving one of thier Expeditions, and I had three cop cars behind me with their lights on as I dropped people off..
