I had that, I am not sure if the shop that did the clutch removed it, as they reportedly replaced the seal...
but then I got a bit of whine from the transfer, which sounded a lot like low fluid...
I suspect that the seal is done between the two, but the rear output seal is shot and will need a speedi-sleeve
If it's warm enough this weekend that I might even confirm my theory
