Server's down.
Guess I might as well go to Desert Rat and buy tire deflators
And get gas at Costco.
And buy gear oil.

Actually people with Aspergers and Autism are better able to recognize patterns. Generally if there is a pattern I can find it.

When he was posting the "should I do it?" threads a couple of us told him to put together a business plan. I volunteered to walk him through it. I imagine he listened to the other 98% that kept cheerleading with "do it, you only live once, you'll make it work".
Looks like he is back to a day job. I hope it works out for him as a hobby business.

for the 40, there is a connection hose available, so that when the seal is shot, the oil still oils both

I just read the thread on the CSC board, and it looks like he will deliver - just very late. I guess he moved during the process, and that really slowed him down.

the 40 survived it in the tranny for a half year with wheeling; don't know how much of it got into the transfer case
we had both fluids changed when we discovered this

Yup. Our neighbors' son, across the street, is 12 and has Aspergers, and he spends every afternoon at our house (we share afterschool care bill, since both families are dual-working parents). He has problems socializing with his peers, and he was a REAL pain when he was, say, 5, but now when I see him, we talk about things like the suspension of habeus corpus or Gilbert and Sullivan tunes. He makes connections that other kids just don't see.

Yes, I was a little cautious in recommending that he dump everything (especially family insurance - unless his wife's policy covered him) and just going into business without a solid marketing and business plan.
Our insurance as self employed household is like sky high!
