Neither am I. I like having enough power to loft the front any time I need to but I don't do big wheelies.
A lot of people say doing stand up wheelies is really hard compared to conventional but when I am trailriding stand up wheelies is about the only time I loft the front. When I am back on the road I suck at popping wheelies.

I didn't get a real job (i.e. career) until I was 38 because I took two years off after college and spent 5 years doing a PhD and chose a career that takes a shitload of education. I've only been working for about 6 years. I haven't had time to get in a rut. I fucking love my life - I make a lot of money doing a fun job and my family is healthy and happy.
I haven't had the time or money to spend on the hobbies I like until now.
If I have a midlife crisis it won't hit me until my late fifties. But I don't see that happening; I'll probably just get happier.

By alloy do you mean aluminum or cromoly?

Renthal, TAG and ProTaper are good brands. I've always used Renthals before and never had a problem.

The chick who owns that Maverick Shorty with the orange rims I posted up also owns a tidy Dakar. Very nice bike.

Fucker. Good for you.
I've been employed since I was 15--part time jobs in HS and college, full time in summers, and every week since graduating college. The most I've gone without working is a month, and that was when my first child was born. I haven't had time to have a midlife crisis. I'm putting mine off until I'm retired.

Some mod action is going on.
I had ultimate tag power until an hour ago - I could delete them all! I was saving it for a rainy day, but I was able to delete claudi and then Claudia's last name for her early this morning.
Now when I click on 'edit tags' it says I don't have access privileges...
