MUD didn't want to work for me today
With the new upgrade I had to clear all my cookies so I could get a thread to open. Forums and sections were OK but no threads would open. Had to PM woody as I couldn't submit a thread to the help section either

He stated you were not only the strongest nurse at the facility but that you were one of the best nurses he had ever worked with. He also stated he enjoyed coming to work when he knew you would be there and he hoped when he got transferred to Nevada he would be able to work with you again sometime.
Just thought I would let you know. I think too many people work without knowing how valued they are. I think by his personality he probably has told you but just in case he hasn’t I thought I would.
Have a great day."
that is so nice. I AM going to miss a few things about this job. All of them people I have met.
Anyhoooo, off to sleep now.

btw, yooper, when you get a chance, could you shoot me the link for the manual drip coffeemaker, glass w/special filters that you posted up a long time ago??
we're still on the melitta one cup camping type maker, because it seems to make better coffee than any drip we've owned, but that one seemed a bit more elegant

Just been outside on the verandah looking at the approaching storm.
128 km Gympie (Mt Kanigan) Radar Loop
Severe Thunderstorm Warning - Southeast Queensland 1
Looks to be a bit of hail headed our way. Good thing the cruisers are under cover.

I don't know what clusterfuck you are referring to but over here the 78 had the 1HZ, 1HD-FTE and 1FZ motors

Just in the last few months there have been a record number of units that have had head problems. DO NOT BE DECIEVED this is a serious and expensive concern. On average the cost to replace a head on the engine is $3000+ (plus a week minimum down time and any tow bills).
There are ways to circumvent the problem but even these are not cheap. If the dealer you are buying from does not inform you of this issue then our advice is to walk away.
We at Luxury Imports have warranted 3 of these units in the last few months.
We at Luxury Imports will not bring in any of these units unless by special request and we will NOT warranty the heads or the costs of replacement.
Here is some informative reading for those that are leaning towards purchasing these units.

Yeah, she could use a bit better fashion sense, but that can be taught. Those pants legs are a bit long, or she needs to don boots, but boots wouldn't go with the top. I don't need a perfect body, just a perfect mind. I've already gone out with a few perfect bodies, unfortunately they often they have stunted brains or their priorities are twisted from anything remotely sane. The only one I'd go out with again is married. (checks WWW) Oh, correction she divorced her latest and has done stuff for the wrong PETA. Damb, I guess she's off my list now. . If it was for People for Eating Tasty Animals I could go out with her again.

Probably never happens, just me being paranoid...
There is a guy on XT225.com that installed a TTR225 rear mudguard with a WR250 taillight - it 's a much better design and I'll probably do the same.
I might get smaller/tougher turn indicators as well.
I also need a tail rack. There are about half a dozen out there available for this bike, which is one of the reasons I chose this model. Yamaha hasn't changed anything but the graphics for ten years, so there are a lot of aftermarket parts available.
I just insured it this morning and the shop is going to register it today. I'll have it tomorrow or Friday.
|
Renthals are great bars but shop around, there are lots of other good brands too. With good alloy bars and good metal barkies you will never have to worry about your hands our bars ever again.
Let me clarify that. If they are set up correctly you won't have to worry.
Choose the bars so you have a bend that allows you to stand on the pegs comfortably without having to crouch too much. IIRC YZ bends are the tallest, you might get away without risers if you chose the right bend.
Sit on the bike in the "attack" position. Head over the triple tree, elbows up (study how MX riders position themselves). Extend you index and middle fingers out onto the brake and clutch levers. Your fingers should be in a straight line from elbow to fingertip. If they aren't rotate the levers so they are inline. Move the bark busters around so they are inline with the levers to protect them. Make sure the levers don't rub on the inside of the barkies as you will cause mechanical dramas later on. If needed move the levers inboard a touch so they don't rub. This also is a benefit by allowing your two fingers to have more leverage on the levers making them lighter to use.
