This comes in handy a lot of the time.
I can leave it home, when I think it's gonna get me in trouble,
or I can rent it out, when I don't need it.
But now and then I go to a party, get drunk,
and the next morning I can't for the life of me
remember what I did with it.
First I looked around my apartment, and I couldn't find it.
So I called up the place where the party was,
they hadn't seen it either.
I asked them to check the medicine cabinet
'cause for some reason I leave it there sometimes
But not this time.
So I told them if it pops up to let me know.
I called a few people who were at the party,
but they were no help either.
I was starting to get desperate.
I really don't like being without my penis for too long.
It makes me feel like less of a man,
and I really hate having to sit down every time I take a leak.
After a few hours of searching the house,
and calling everyone I could think of,
I was starting to get very depressed,
so I went to the Kiev, and ate breakfast.
Then, as I walked down Second Avenue towards St. Mark's Place,
where all those people sell used books and other junk on the street,
I saw my penis lying on a blanket
next to a broken toaster oven.
Some guy was selling it.
I had to buy it off him.
He wanted twenty-two bucks, but I talked him down to seventeen.
I took it home, washed it off,
and put it back on. I was happy again. Complete.
People sometimes tell me I should get it permanently attached,
but I don't know.
Even though sometimes it's a pain in the ass,
I like having a detachable penis.

 nice!

Here's my chance to say thank you to a place where
All my memories are fond and an essence of my heart
Waiting there with open arms
There's Melissa full of charm
How I miss her so, she's such a sight of love down in
Oh Virginia down the highway to 64
East way to Newport News
There you'll find an open door in
Oh Virginia all my friends are there to greet me
Just a smile down 64 along the open road
At the Patton Hotel I spent lots of time there
That's where we decided this is where we wanted to be
And down the road on Jefferson you'll find Steamer's close by
If you see Mark and Steve Breen
Tell 'em Jeff and I both said "hi"
But we were younger then never knowing then
That she would take us as her own
And make us part of her life
Highway to the sun we had so much fun
I can't wait to get there and tell 'em that I miss my second home
Oh Virginia down the way we'll be there in no time
Oh Virginia just a ride down 64
Oh Virginia I can see those signs from here
Oh Virginia 25 miles to Hampton Roads
We got friends in Yorktown we got friends in Williamsburg
We got friends in Newport News
We want all of y'all from Portsmouth sing
We got friends in Bluefield we got friends in Richmond
We got friends in Hampton Roads
And down by the beach let me hear everybody, yeah

LOL You're not fucking going to believe it, either...
2000 Chrysler Concorde LSi
The quintessential American land-yacht. about 40 feet long, 10 feet wide, interior covered in about 16 acres of leather. Trunk bigger than my first apartment. Fully loaded with every option, rides smooth as silk, handles like a waterbed.
Yep, I got me a true Ghetto-Cruiser so I won't look so conspicuous in Beloit.
But, here's the good part:
1) 31,000 miles on an eight year old car.
2) You know how the owners manual says to take it in for " ________________________ every X miles or Y months, whichever comes first"? Well, that was done religiously. Even if the car only had 300 miles on it since the last oil change, it still was changed every three months, regardless.
3) I know the previous owner very well
Yeah, it was my grandmother's car. She paid cash for it at the Chrysler dealer when it was new, and drove it to the grocery store, and to go on the occasional long trip. She decided a few years back that she should not be driving anymore (what with not being able to see past the dashboard and all) and she gave it to my dad, which was a nice gesture, but he didn't need it. So, the thing sat in my aunt's garage for the last few years (She lives close to grandma). My aunt continued to look after the car, pretty much only driving it to the Chrysler dealer for the maintenance, and maybe a long trip or two where having a land yacht might be nice. But she didn't need the car either, and it takes up a lot of frigging garage space.
My aunt decided a while back to sell it, but my grandmother got all pissy about it. Something about how "...I do all these nice things for you kids, and you never appreicate it! You're all a bunch of ingrates! Do you think your father could afford to send you to college on a Navy salary? No, but we scrimped and saved and did it anyway, and none of you have ever...." So, that left aunt Cindy in a bad spot -- sell the car and piss off her mother -- which doesn't take much at all, or have thing taking up like 17 acres of garage space so it could get driven once a week.
So, when she heard I was in need of a nice commuting car, she leapt at the opportunity to get the fucker out of her garage. Since she can tell grandma that it's staying "in the family" and is going to good use to keep me from having to buy a new car while Katie is out of work, grandma not only approved, but insisted that Cindy give it to me, and insisted that my refusal to accept her generosity would not be well received.
So, I took it.
And I'm paying $1 for it. She was gonna just give it to me, but her lawyer told her that it would be better to sell it to me, even if only for $1.
The idea is that I can drive the POS for a while till I find a new vehicle I really want (like a diesel something-or-other) and am less reluctant to take on a new payment.
My aunt figures that in a year or two, I'll be able to trade the fucker off, and grandma either:
a) won't remember
b) won't care
c) option c...
So, that's that.
I now own a land yacht.
My cousi David will be delivering it in two weeks.
|
congrats!
(though vehicles that have sat for long periods of time worry me)
