I think I've hung it up for the season...already. Its kind of depressing. I only spent 2 days on the boards this year.

Oh well. Backpacking/climbing season's just beginning at least.

So, I pull into the parking lot on campus that is near the student center, library, and a bunch of dorms. There is this Toyota P/U behind me that somebody left the lights on. I didnt know what to do, so I take it upon myself to open the door and turn the lights off. Damn, locked.
Here comes the campus police. I thought he said "Do you have any insurance on this vehicle?"
And I replied, "No, it's not mine."
"That is what I mean, what is your interest in this vehicle."
"Ohhhhhhhh, somebody left there lights on."
Oh shit look on his face, he starts laughing nervously and tells me it is his truck and was worried.
I said "Oh, well you left your lights on, and I was just going to flick them off because I knew it would be hard to find the owner on campus."

Isn't there a way to use it as your modem for your portable?

Amy Adams is great in her role, totally makes the movie. We found the ending a little overblown and unnecessary, but hey, it's a princess movie, gotta have it, I guess.

I saw a couple tablespoons of coolant under my 60 a month ago, when it dipped down to 10 degrees here--never found out where it came from, I assume from a similar problem.

For sure, he did some things, like staying bedside 24/7 at the start, but over the months he just let the burden of care fall increasingly on her shoulders. She, however, has been tireless. Maybe it's just a division in nature, but when you add the fact that she pulls down a multiple of his salary. . . .

I was thinking $30 OBO. It requires using starter fluid to get it to fire up...but works good once its running. Overheats when its over 100 deg out...but what do you expect.

I was gonna give it a week at $30, and if it doesn't go I'll put it up for free and leave it on the curb.

, I'll keep you posted. It is possible I can hook up with you guys somewhere along the way. Things are just up in the air at the mo'.

Tuesday - drive Lockhart Basin, including Lockhart Canyon down to the Colorado river, all the way to Moab.
Alternative: Claudia and myself skip the CNY NP and go into Lockhart on Monday, camp, and wait for the rest of the gang to join Tuesday for the leg to Moab. This on account that both of us drive leaf-sprung vehicles that are usually significantly slower on dirt, and Lockhart Basin including Lockhart Canyon would make for a long day; and we did the Elephant Hill / CNY part last September.
Wednesday - Tech Inspection, then over to White Rim on the west side to check out Taylor Canyon, then back to town, maybe thru Lone Canyon.
Re Moab trails: All I want to do is Golden Spike on Thursday (if I don't get that, I might skip tech inspection/CM-organized trails altogether and hook up with a friend of mine to run some new-to-me trails...), and then bounce around on some of the less-well known trails. I've been on Hell's Revenge quite a few times, same for some other popular trails. I'm thinking Flat Iron Mesa, and Kevin brought up Dome Plateau east of Arches...
