It's weird going back to the desktop after being used to the laptop. I keep reaching for the touchpad instead of the mouse

D-link Airplus G something (can't remember, it is installed in the 'puter). My brother (computer guru) has been working on it all day and, from what he can find, the problem we are having is a common problem with the card. There are a few "Hot Fixes" for it but we can't get any of them to work.

My brother is doing a bit of researching on how to fix the problem. I think it is more to do with the card rather than Vista as it was doing the same with Linux

Well, with the DELL, sometimes I don't use a mouse--but that's because it has both buttons. The Mac's only have the one button, although I know you can work around it, I just prefer the mouse wen I'm using either of my MacBooks.

Well, all my SCUBA gear is ship-shape (literally!) and all accounted for. I went over to Kohl's today and got a couple of pairs of shorts and a new swim suit, and then picked up a cheapie pair of sunglasses. I figure if I misplace/lose these, I won't fret it too damn much.
