A crusty Army sergeant found himself at a gala event hosted by a local liberal arts college. There was no shortage of extremely young idealistic ladies in attendance, one of whom approached the Sergeant for conversation.
'Excuse me, Sergeant Ferguson, but you seem to be a very serious man. Is something bothering you?'
'Negative, ma'am. I am just serious by nature.'
The young lady looked at his awards and decorations and said, 'It looks like you have seen a lot of action.'
'Yes ma'am, a lot of action.'
The young lady, tiring of trying to start up a conversation, said, 'You know, you should lighten up a little. Relax and enjoy yourself.'
The Sergeant just stared at her in his serious manner. Finally the young lady said, 'You know, I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but when is the last time you had sex?'
'1955, ma'am.'
'Well, there you are. You really need to chill out and quit taking everything so seriously! I mean no sex since 1955! She took his hand and led him to a private room where she proceeded to 'relax' him several times.
Afterwards, panting for breath, she leaned against his bare chest and said, 'Wow, you sure didn't forget much since 1955.
The Sergeant, glancing at his watch, said in his serious voice, 'I hope not, it's only 2130 now.'

Mars just thinks he's a whore . . .
I seem to recall some stretches where swanker, yooper, Jman, me, NCD, stinky, and a host of others used to put up some muthafuckin' NUMBAHS.

(8) DD thinks " Gubs"; MrsDD says, " Let's go on a cruise";
(9) DD says " yes Dear";
(10) USAA travel and Royal Caribbean do the rest . . .
We sail on the 23rd from Galveston on the Voyager of the Seas on a seven-night cruise to Cozumel, Roatan, & Progreso.

The regular iPods are better music players. The iPod Touch has a web browser and does email and has a nice screen for watching movies. It's the right one for me because it replaces my Palm that I use every day and it replaces a laptop for me when traveling. But there are some big compromises compared to other iPods in music playing terms. The best music players are the iPod Classics with big hard drives.

we have very limited space at the house in town, so I'm thinking an 8' x 12' would be just about right once we finish tearing up the driveway and Emma's old pen.
Katie drew up plans for a decorative garden and vegetable garden separated by a greenhouse, leaving a section of concrete for a nice grill/smoker combo and an outdoor dining area.
We were going to rent the jack hammer and get to bustin' up concrete this weekend, but it's fucking supposed to snow 13" today and tomorrow.
