What an absolute scum puke of a human being. If you don't like it, don't donate. I think you just converted me into a conservative.

amos - best wishes for working to put together a program to give kids some structure and something to believe in.

Gentlemen, before you disappear into a Dan Brown discussion about who was present at the singularity, can you help me here

Thanks.

Wow, just found this.

Jupiter Both an Impact Source and Shield for Earth

I didn't realize that the "Jupiter as shield" idea has persisted for so long. The cruicial quote is:

"But it turns out that if Jupiter didn't exist, some of those cometary invaders wouldn't approach Earth in the first place."

Dude, I was the last guy to post in that thread, before you revived it. I posted a real gem, and no one responded.

I owe everyone I've offended on this thread an apology. I was having a rather intense day at work and I allowed myself to take aim at (and get sucked into) a subject that elicits strong emotions on both sides. I might have been looking for an e-fight and that's not right.

I have disagreements with organized religion, however the original title was clear and I think itwas a legitimate request for fundraising ideas and the cause is legitimate.

That's a good way to lose a soulmate.
