I don't have inner city kids try to sell me soap. If I did i would tell them to go pound sand, just like I tell everyone who disregards my no soliciting sign.
So you don't mind someone soliciting money for a religious mission to Mexico on a landcruiser forum? Are you sending him money to help the poor Mexican heathens? I didn't think so.
So what do you do when someone you don't know asks for money for their pet project?

So do you buy the soap? Or just pretend to drop it?
By the way everyone is allowed an opinion, even if you don't agree with it.

the author of this thread did not spread any of his religious opinions in his first post. you did not in your asshole response either. so this post of yours does not even make sense. you are right-everyone has their right to an opinion, but you didn't even state yours...you just posted an asshole response.
here is my opinion based on your one post-you have little class and demonstrate such by shitting on someone trying to do something useful: service for poor people whose govt won't do it and who weren't born into a lucky enough situation to do it for themselves.
the author has not preached, but many of his "fellow cruiser buddies" including yourself feel the need to post stupid shit trying to push your point twice as strongly as any christian i have seen try to push theirs.
i hope sometime i see you on the trail broken down so i can practice some of the same non-christian charity that you are demonstrating here. ill honk and yell "pound sand" as i drive by.
shame on you.

first:
this isn't spam. spam would be if i pm'd everyone on mud
second:
praying for money is very spiritual. but have have instructions to do pratical things as well.
James 2:26
For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
third:
passage to seperate people from money. oh that's a hard one
Matthew 22:21
They said to Him, "Caesar's." Then He said to them, "Then render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's; and to God the things that are God's."

Having cultist trying to convince the world about God's existence should be looked upon the same way as a grown person arguing about the existence of Santa Clause. ( except Santaclausians won't kill you if you don't agree with them).

don't worry we decided you are worthy of conversion, so we won't kill you.
if you would take the tin foil hat off we could find you quicker.
and i think the modern day story of santa is a shame. my kids think so, too.

thanks
i do make it a point to not push my religion on people, when people make claims that God doesn't exist or something i do try to respond with intelligent answers.
but i never go into tut and try to convert the tutites.
long before i was a Christian i would help someone that was broke down, buy girl scout cookies, and drop change in the Salvation Army bucket. i even pulled a jeep out of a ditch once. and nobody ever accused me of being some kind of radical.
i am not trying to convert anyone, i am not trying to put a guilt complex on anyone who does not want to be separated from their money.
i purposely put mission trip in the title so that anyone who is missions minded could click, and anyone who wasn't could not.
