some folks take the time away and return with a new name and a new outlook on what they want from the forum...after all, there IS an awful lot of good Toyota tech available, and finding yourself banned for doing something out of character doesn't make much sense....

I hope they don't get banned again. Both of them often add an edge to the conversation. Sometimes I realize the edge is too sharp, but most of the time, it's enjoyable and brings new light.

In my mind BHM and CC have very sharp minds and are able to write very well thought out reasonable responses that force the PC crowd to stop and think a little. They do not suffer fools well. I am not elloquant (SP) enough to express myself how much I enjoy their written response to the threads they participate in.

However, BMH is so erudite and witty that I for one will miss reading his responses if he does get the boot again.

I can think of reasons: entertainment being the first and foremost. Now, I didn't find this particular rehashing to be all that entertaining - but you've gotta take the good with the bad. Was it really something you would consider banning someone for? It's not like the thread was so bad it was deleted or locked (until now).

You are asking for too much thought to go into it. Everyone knows here (or should) subtleties do not play well. Surface shallow assumptions rule the day.

I will point out, however, now that you have outted them publicly, anyone with an axe to grind will find reasons to PM you.

More than would have otherwise. Of course it is your right, your forum, but many would not have known if not but for this thread. They are now marked men more than before.
