using corn for ethanol is such a joke, isnt sawgrass better then corn and sugar cane at making it?
- Iowa, a key primary 2008 state, is king of corn, so the corn price subsidy via ethanol subsidy is politically popular. Therefore, both parties will be loathe to reverse their push for ethanol until after the election.
- Farmers in Iowa don't grow sawgrass.
- Do they have the kinks worked out of sawgrass-derived ethanol production?
