| Remember when smoking was acceptable and in the work place? I bought a mess of dealer give aways a long time ago. The man I bough it from was the GM for a Toyota dealer and had received every thing from lighters to golf clubs with Toyota's logo on them.
This was my favorite and thought I would share.

| So am I, I personally was a 2.5 pack a day for 13+ years till Apr 15th 2004 and have since had a smoke. I could not go into a bar or anyplace that had smoking for over 2 years after. I avoid it and my personal pubs do not have smoking.
Buy I do enjoy a good smoke every few weeks or so in the garage.

| I quit smoking cigars a year ago, well mostly. I've had maybe 2 or 3 this year, but surprisingly after 10 years of smoking them I don't miss them much......but every once in a while.......

| I quit the day of tax deadline and I am also in the car biz.......Can I say I was an ass to my techs for months!! I strapped on the highest mg patches they had at the time and also quit my daily ration of 3 quad mochas at the same time.....I still have a star bucks, just not mochas and not quads.
I am very glad I quit, it was hard in every way possible and you wont know unless you have quit. I dont do any other drugs and have not for a decade or so but those were nothing like Marlboro reds.

| They are even moving to ban smoking on beaches where I live.
I went past a house under construction yesterday with a big NO SMOKING sign out front.
Times have really changed since the bus/train floor would be thick with butts.
They are also talking about slapping a R rating on any film showing smoking in it.
There will come a day when only registered addicts can buy cigarettes.
I give em away 20 years ago but that doesnt guarantee good health. The doctor says anyone who ever smoked is much more susceptiple to skin ulcers in old age.

| This sucks because I have been considering picking up smoking. I've given up 37 years of looking cool and now they decide to ban smoking everywhere I could light up. A guy can't even exercise addictive behavior while staying legal these days.
I guess I'd better think about snuff or chewing tobacco while I still can.

| I remember as a kid, them having ashtrays in the corridors of the hospital and people smoking while sitting there. It wasn't that long ago either (ok 30 years). Interestingly, they still have the ashtrays in the shitters at work.
