Check out the new TLCA home page blog
I recently spent quite a bit of time reworking the TLCA home page. It's now powered by WordPress, which allows me to post up Toyota 4WD news on a very regular basis. I made 5 posts just this week!
The intent is to make TLCA the primary source of Toyota 4WD news, on a very timely basis.
The news that I'll be posting can be anything related to Toyota 4WD vehicles:
* A new product for a Toyota 4x4 from a TLCA business member
* An announcement from Toyota about new features
* Land use announcements and issues
* TLCA event news (Event registration is now open, buy a t-shirt, etc).
* Stolen vehicles
* FJ Cruiser Trail Team events
* Links to cool web sites, threads about interesting modifications, etc.
* Picture of the Week will be now integrated into this as well
* Announcements about TLCA contests
* Quick announcements from the TLCA BODs
The goals are:
1. Give people a reason to visit the TLCA web site on a regular basis. The start of this was the "Picture of the Week" feature, which has been successful. This will provide new, fresh content on the home page of our web site on a consistent basis.
2. Make TLCA the central, authoritative source for fresh news about the latest products, events, etc.
3. Provide members with another benefit of TLCA membership.
This is my "Web 2.0" move -- my attempt to take the TLCA web site from a static, informational web site to a dynamic, constantly-updated central source of information. I'm hoping this will be a huge jump for the web site and for our club.
Anyway, please check it out!

One of the newest posts is about a guy's stolen '85 4Runner. Take a look. Any leads to recovery earn $600.
