Google maps street view: FJ Spotting
You've got to hand it to Google, they keep coming out with big ideas and amazing us with great execution. My jaw dropped this morning with the release of Street View, an immersive addition to Google Earth and Google Maps that lets you virtually walk around a number of major U.S. cities with a 360 degree view every ten metres or so down each street. You can pan, zoom in, zoom out... its amazing!
This has been launched in Denver, Las Vegas, Miami, New York and San Francisco. I quickly hit Las Vegas and Miami to take a peek around, and play with the new feature, only to find a Nice Blue FJ:
Thanks Google, you just saved me a fortune in travel. Now I can sit at my desk and drive down streets everywhere!

Regardless of the spamlike topic, this actually does appear to have some merit since it's talking about a new Google feature (article link) that allows for ground level views of some cities. Pretty cool feature ( sample) although I'm not sure exactly what it would be good for...

Can you pan up and down? I tried going further down the street to get a better look at those a$$es but the camera just points straight down at the curb?
