| Just found out a friend died This really sucks....My wife just called and told me a good friend of mine died. I got to looking and he passed away sometime between March 21st and march 31st, and I didn't even know. He was 21 years old.
We think he died in a car accident but we are not sure and I cannot find anything online about it. The only reason I know when he passed is all of the comment people are making on his facebook account.
I hadn't talked to him a while.....wow just a empty feeling. To know he was a 21 year old kid that was super smart and had such a bright future ahead of him.
RIP John T Smith

| I'm sorry to hear this. A friend of mine died several years ago at the age of 20 from an accident. He had just turned his life around, too. It hurts even more that I found out after the fact. It's terrible when someone that young leaves so soon.

| A girl in my apartment complex was engaged to his roomate. She said she thinks he went home for another friends funeral and went out drinking with some old HS buddies. They had a car accident that night and it threw him out of the vehicle and he was killed by the vehicle.
I don't know any of the details of the accident other than that. LIfe is so short.

| Sorry for your loss - I know how that goes, to get news like that out of the blue. It's a little unsettling.

| it was very unsettling. He lived in the same apartment complex and we played on the same intramural flag football team, I was the LB he was my safety. In the short time we knew each other we became really good friends.
My wife calls, says one of your friends just told me JT died. And it was like Whoa whoa whoa.........and she said the guy who told her(who was also on the football team with us) had been trying to email him and get ahold of him the last few weeks and couldn't now he knows why. The sad thing is would have never known until next years football season when I tried to call him. I just assumed he was gone on Co-Op for an engineering company in Texas.
thanks for the thoughts.....but I do ask that you really send prayers, or thoughts for those of you who don't pray, to his family.....no parent wants to outlive their kids.
