Post Professional reseme writing tips?

So, I have an opportunity to possiably interview for a kick @ss job in another country.

Problem is my resume'. Even though the information contained it in is accurate and up to date (I update it every 6 months or so), the document itself is out of date. I have GPA's and awards on there from high school.

The job I'm interested in is professional in nature, an extension of my lab job I currently have- but I doubt that they care about high school junk.

I have a short paragraph with my technical skills briefly listed, but the guy that has reviewed my resume' asked me to 'punch up' my technical skills.

What kind of format do you guys use? I mean, I can write PAGES on what I do and my technical skills, but it would be narrative in form, and that isn't that cool.

#5 was attached to a resume that stated she was looking for a new job after quitting her Ex-Boyfriend's custom fab shop.

Depending on the country the employer might actually be asking for a CV, C.V. or Curriculum Vitae. Like a resume but more detailed and formal. CV and resume are not interchangeable.

Good luck with the bank in Nigeria.

Doc; not enough data to answer ur question. However, if its just a resume that required, keep it to two pages. There are samples on Microsoft Word & at the bottom of this page for free. If its overseas work, be careful; this could be a scam to get ur personal information; SS#, bank #'s etc.

My resume sucks, so I really can't speak to the thread subject.

Quick reply, thanks. Does Jman always take credit for your grammatical humor?
