| Help! "Insert Image" icon is not working for me OK - here is the deal:
I had to log onto a special Sprint website for work and it added a certificate to my computer. Suddenly the "Insert Image" icon in the advanced window appears different. It looks like this:
It is not the one I am used to. The old one had no VBulletin icon or other stuff at the bottom. If I put a URL in there and click OK it does nothing. I figure it has to be a conflict with the certificate as that is all that changed when things went awry but that does not make sense to me.
I have cleared my cache, cleared my cookies, altered my security settings and restarted my machine all in an attempt to fix it but no dice.
Any ideas?
I will now brace myself for 100 smart ass answers and hope for at least one intelligent retort that can be applied to allow me to go back to my useful life of posting useless photos of things no one cares to see.

| Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced
Hit "Reset Advanced Settings" and see if anything changes...

| Oh. I thought you had installed a firewall program. If you go into the advanced security settings for your browser you might be able to delete the certificate. It doesn't make sense that a security certificate would cause that kind of problem though - it's really just a password kind of thing that lets your computer and Sprint's server authenticate each other. It shouldn't affect anything else. It might not be the problem...

| Strange... the attachment window uses no encryption or special encoding, so that sprint certificate should have no bearing on whats going on. Right click on the popup where you are supposed to submit the image and look at the page info/properties and see what the URL to the page is.

The only thing I can think is that the site added a littel something other then the certificate. Unfortunately I kinda need the site access.

| Did you upgrade to a new version of your browser maybe?
Are you using the same browser program as usual (IE sucks by the way, FireFox is the best Windoze browser to use for MUD).

| Maybe download Firefox and use it for MUD and other inanity. Save the I.E. crap for work use...

That is not the same dialogue box you get is it?
