You ever had a moment where everything just felt right?

Today, while driving home from skiing..everything just felt 'right'. My son had a great day skiing with both me and my mom and stepdad...I was able to snowboard with my good buddy Kumar and his wife, I hadn't snowboarded in about 13 yrs, but I was pretty proud of how I did...I figured out how to carry my snowboard boots, ski boots, skis, snowboard and my son's skis all together (my son carried all our poles)...it was a beautiful day, bright sun, warm, perfect conditions...wasn't rushed, took my time getting out the parking lot, took a few self-timed pictures of my son and I with the mountains in the background...

Just an overall great day...even stopped by my favorite mexican restaurant on the way home (AJ's Green Chili in Idaho Springs)...excellent food...icing on the cake...hmm...maybe I could use cake now..

Kickass day!

Not for a very, very long time.

But they rock when they happen, don't they? I'm looking forward to another one of those.

Nice.
It all has to do with that no hurries mood.
Reminds me of several kayaking trips.

I do have moments where everything just feels right... Most of the time its when I'm just cruising around in the car, or just cruising on my bike, down by the beach. Haven't had one of the those moments in a couple months though...

Anywho, everyone deserves moments like these. Sooooo....

Yes, when I bought my FJ40 and drove it home.

what was his name? haha

Seriously, though. When I graduated from college, my best friend and I went on a two week road trip around the southwest (carlsbad cavern, grand canyon, 4 corners, moab, durango, lake city) camping the whole time. Best two weeks of my life. I miss that guy. He got called home too soon.

Yeah, when I first started my 240sx after having it in pieces for almost a year. My dad was in Thailand at the time and I called him, he was excited... first and last time I've heard him like that.

Yeah I've had a few of those moments. The only problem is 20 minutes later everything is spinning and I'm throwing up all over the place.

Besides substance-induced, not in a long time. It's been a hard past decade.
