| Saw a show on that a while ago and the guy who designed it said " If some one took a new battery and put it in, I'm sure it would still go". Assuming that it really is up there. ( start the X-file's soundtrack here )

steering yes, suspension not sure, the "tires" are an open wire mesh (no tube no pressure inside) with sheet metal treads riveted on, that provides some suspension
