You are 20 and your buddy is 19. Problems such as this do not have age requirements. It can happen to anybody at any age. I found out about 6:00pm tonight that my 92yo grandfather was circumsized last friday. They found a funny growth in the foreskin.

I'm sure you're perfectly okay.
And it's good that you found the abnormal lump early- good watchin' out.

I know how stressful and worrying things like this can make you.
Try your best and breathe deep.
Worrying and stressing over it when you're waiting can just wreck you.

Got the imaging done today... it wasn't that bad (but my GOD that gel goes from hot to cold in about 2 seconds flat)

Tomorrow I go to get the imaging read and a double-check. I asked the tech if she saw anything in the ultrasound and she basically said she isn't a physician and didn't want to speculate, but she found something but it was small.

Oh well, I'll know for sure tomorrow, and then I'm having me a nice tall

Dude, I want you to know that I'm routing for you and if this wasn't such a serious thread, I'd hit this slow ball you pitched out of the park!

Good luck bud.

Oh believe me I knew that was going to be like putting the ball on the tee...

Tried to find a better way to phrase it but theres no way to say it without it sounding bad. Besides, I know plenty of people who will vouch for the size of my manhood

Goin to sleep soon, gotta get up bright and early at 7, I'm eager to find out that I'm hopefully a-okay.

Well, just got back from the urologist in Tampa. The result? Inconclusive. He said the ultrasound was not very clear, but said the lump was physically similar to very early stage cancer. He said there is probably a 50/50 chance that it is nothing but a cyst, or that it could be a mixed tumor.

So now I wait 3 months to see how it changes and go back and get another ultrasound and physical exam. He did say though that if it is cancerous it would still easily be Stage I and I should be fine.

So hrpmh! Not the answer I was looking for, but still not *nearly* as bad as it could have gone.

Now for some

This is what I get fro being a smart ass in a previous post! Mine comes out soon. Gleason score of a 4-3 and a 3-4 in two of the 12 biopsy shots. Stage 4 in one small space. I go in for a cat scan tomorrow to see if it is localized or spreading.

Keep a very close eye on yours Nater! Good luck

Holy crap photogod, are you referring to testicular or prostate cancer? Either way, good luck with your treatment and here's to hoping it hasn't metastasized

I had a scare a few years ago, but it turned out to only be a hydrocele. I discovered a lump during a self exam. My dad switched insurance companies so had to get a full physical. The Dr. told him he was too young to really worry about prostate cancer, but ordered the PSA anyway. Turned out Dad had very early stages of prostate cancer. That was 8 or 9 years ago, and Dad hasn't had any problems since. Get screened and do your self-exams, boys and girls! Good luck, Photogod. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Hey man. I hope all is well with you. If this helps, my dad found a lump of somekind on himself and went to the Dr. fearing the worst and it was nothing to be worried about like many others here on the board have vocalized.

Good luck and keep positive.
