| Dad gave me a box of old porn... old Playboy value?
A few years ago my father “bequeathed” to me a old box of playboys... anyone know anything about these or where I could go about selling them (besides ebay, which I understand isn’t the best place to sell them)? All have some scuffs on the cover with some turned corners in places, ranging from good to very good:

| one of my buddies had tons of playboys i was gonna sell for him.
many were anchient, and others were more recent.
i did all the reasearch on ebay to see what each one was going for.
it was dissapointing.
there was only a few like Marylin Monroe (the premire issue) that were pulling some big numbers.
other than that, it was not worth my time, so i never sold any.
so keep em and use em as spare 646 media, i guess.

You were born mid '76? | Right on the first one, wrong on the second. My father had a subscription evidently while going to school, which my mother didn't care about since she "read them for the articles," whatever that means.
However the December 1981 issue would have been around 10 months before my younger sister was born....
I guess I'll try ebay, and whatever doesn't sell can go to Spook's buddies I suppose. | |

| At my previous job, at a pawnshop, they had all the old ones starting from some of the very first ones all the way up to 1980. It was funny to see how times have changed with that mag.
