I have a New Holland TC40D 4WD tractor that is similar to some of THESE models.

I have been extremely happy with it, especially the Super Steer option.

Just another option for you to look at. I looked at the green tractors too, but seemed to get more for my money with the blue ones.

Either aren't bad. Kubota (made in Japan) is another I would recommend looking into. There tend to be alot more attachments readily available out there for Kubota's too.

White Shark & I have an old Ford 1310 ag tractor which still runs like a dream, so I wouldn't hesitate to p/up a Hew Holland.

It all depends on what your needs are & then what else you might plan on doing with it in the future. Don't buy more tractor than you need, cause for the money your not going to gain anything but higher fuel costs, and operating exspenses.

I'll definitely look at one of this and a Kubota. John Deere seems a little high. Will use it mostly for rough cutting and occasional loading. Thanks.

The 3000 series is a nice line. My father and I bought new tractors last year. He bought a Cab 3520 w/ FEL, front snow blower and a mower, I bought a 4120 w/ FEL, and tiller. He replaced his old 2XHP JD and I replaced my 30HP New Holland.

People always seem to say JD is pricy, check Kubota. We focused our search / negotiation on JD and Kubota (comparable models) Not being able to decide what comany or models were better, it came down to price. JD beat Kubota.

Both units have been great during the first year of service. At first I thought JD's "Loadmatch" feature was BS. But after having it, I think the feature is great and very useful / helpful.

Good Luck.
