| Lost Luggage Damn! I'm up at 5am and wide AWAKE! Still suffering from jet lag and the thought of my luggage missing for 7 days now!
Unfortunately I was one of the 40,000 pieces of luggage lost at LHR due to improper maintenance on the luggage belts!
After flying through Heathrow to get to Brussels, I stood in line for 3 hours to fill out a claim along with the other 100+ passengers on my flight. The assured me they would have it at my hotel in a max of 3 days. It has been 7 now and no word yet. Thanks so much BRITISH AIRWAYS!!!! Fockers!
By the 3rd day of wearing the same clothes over in Europe, I fit right in and began to smell (the Europeans actually confused me for being German, go figure!) I began to realize how much more comfortable I would have been by the 3rd day of camping/wheeling than I was this past week.
Aside from not having any clothes to wear in the COLD, I had the remainder of our company's product for the year in that bag! And more importantly, my 2004 Surf N Turf shirt, and 2006 Death Valley Shirt!!!!!!!
I already filled out a claim report and gave them contacts numbers for PismoJim and FirstToy so they can startup the printing presses again and make me some replacement shirts!
1 Trip to Europe $3,500
1 lost electric razor $50
4 lost pairs of socks $15
2 lost SNT & DV Shirts PRICELE$$

| Update the saga continues...
1 week after luggage was reported lost, I called British Airways for the 100th time and they said they had located it and it would be Fed-ex'd overnight to my doorstep the following day (Sat 12/23/06)
no surprise here, nothing! I had pretty much given up at that point.
So we went on our trip to Joshua Tree as planned and went to work at the beginning of the year with still no report. I called yet again after being on hold for 1hr 40min this time due to high call volume and they admitted that they had no clue where any of the missing suitcases were!
1/3/06 my boss gets a call (I put his number down as well) They didn't call my number which I gave to them multiple times...They say they tried to deliver at our work address but nobody was there! Bullshit, we were all waiting for our damn product to show up! Finally they give us a window for delivery between 10am and 4pm on Friday 1/5/06. I waited all day at work for them to show up, still no sign.
