So I hardly watch TV news, getting most of it from the internet, CNN, Fox, local stations websites. I notice that lately, more and more (maybe 50% of the stories at least on CNN's main headlines) are video only. I hate that. I don't want to wait for player to load, and be forced to watch ads. I'd rather read the story, and will skip ones that are video only. Can skim quicker than watching video. Anyone else actually use the video news clips?

Yeah, I hate them too, and for whatever reason, sometimes only the ads run, and then the video story hangs. What a pain.
