| Had to share - email from Stone Brewing My email to them: Quote:
To my fellow arrogant bastards at the Stone Brewery,
I've discovered that to properly proclaim my arrogance to the world, simply taking pictures of myself enjoying The Arrogance in my various locales was just not enough. Though a tattoo would have properly shown my devotion to The Arrogance, Washington State weather often limits my ability to wear clothes that would give it proper justice. I was led to the decision of proudly displaying the Arrogance on my truck, showing it to all I see on the roads as I frequently travel across the Washington highways and back country roads. This decal is 8" x 8", custom cut vinyl that loudly and proudly proclaims my arrogance to the world. Yet still, there are those who must ask me what it means. I feel it is only fair to warn them of the aggressive nature of The Arrogance, and warn them still that they probably wouldn't like it when I see that they're drinking fizzy yellow beer. Attached is a photo of my newest traveling companion. I hope it will bring inspiration to you and yours, as it does me.
Godspeed, my friends

and their reply back to me: Good evening, Dan—
WOW! Indeed, that’s one hell of a bold statement you’re making to your fellow Northwesterners! I was most definitely inspired by it—so much so that I’ve forwarded your email and photo to our merchandising director, Shawn Fels. I think you may have started something here. I certainly hope so. And the fact that the uninitiated must ask you about the decal’s significance makes it all the more special. It’s your chance to further spread the Arrogance among the ranks of poor, benighted drinkers of fizzy yellow swill. Tough love, my brother, that’s what they need—whether they want it or not! It is always a pleasure to hear from our enthusiastic devotees, and your dedication is much appreciated. Thanks so much for taking the time to write us and for sending along the photo which so elegantly and unequivocally demonstrates to all your devotion to the Bastard. I salute you.
Arrogantly yours,
ken

| Hit your reply button in your email program and type: "AND?"
See if they offer you a case or something when you send that... if not then ask for one if they do reply. Oh, and attach another photo of the whole vehicle for their ad campaign.
Can't hurt.

| Close as I could get on short notice. A toucan might not be as cool a mascot but I'd still rather have a Guinness

| Hi All:
Ah, but have you ever had the "double Bastard" from Stone?
If you thought A.B. was big, you better sit down for the "double A.B."!!
Regards,
Alan

Alan | Yeah, they have it at my local liquor store but at $5 for the 22 or so oz. bottle or $55 for the gallon or so size bottle (even at 10%) that's a little pricey
