[80and100cruisers]

When ever I hit "return" or "enter" when I am in excell it goes to the next box to the right, instead of down like it always has. I am running Microsoft Excel 2004 (v 11.3) on a Macintosh. The "tab" key still goes to the right as it always has. When I hold down "shift + return/enter" it goes to the left, so it is acting just like its the "tab" key. I have had no luck in the help menu.

Anyone know how to fix this annoying problem?

Tools > Options > Edit > Move Selection After Enter [dropdownbox]

Thanks for the reply, but it is different with the Mac version. Any mac addicts out there in the know?

mac version is similar:

Excel -> Preferences -> Edit, there is a check box for "move selection after return" and a drop down menu for the direction
